ABOUT

My name is Keira Mullen, and i am a Photography 10 student at SRT. I like to capture photos with the little details and usually photos that emphasize a certain subject. 

I decided to get into photography because i love to just take photos in general. I like capturing little moments of my life that i can look back on. i mostly like photography as an elective because i get to learn how to professionally take photos and learn how to capture different subjects the right way.  

This blog is where i will be publishing all my  assignments and projects from this class throughout the year. 

In my last year and a bit doing photography, i have learned that i am drawn more to dark or coloured lighting. i also am drawn to emphasizing my subjects. whether that's positioning them the center of the photo or just having certain angles and camera-focus on that subject. i believe that makes my photos look more 'clean'. 

a little bit about me as a person is that i  like to hangout with my friends, i like to draw/ paint, i love Starbucks (especially the fall and Christmas menu), i i like to go thrifting, i like to go camping during the summer, and i love the outdoors and nature. 

that is probably why i also like to capture the outdoors sometimes in my photography.
